There is no greater time of more rapid change for the female body than during pregnancy, labor, delivery and of course the few years after. It easily can throw us for a loop. Whether it's managing pain during pregnancy, preparing for labor/delivery or managing the recovery process after birth we believe providing the time to connect and re-establish a sense of one's self is key. Firstly, Kristina approaches this special time with personal experience. As a Mom of two, whom had very different labor and deliveries, she understands the complexities that come with these rapid physical, emotional and practical identity changes. There is no prescription for the body during this time. Kinesthetic Therapy tailors the modalities used to each individual person. Some may need more manual therapy, some may benefit from myo-fascial movement and activation work and some from breath work. The most benefit comes from a combination of all three. No matter the techniques, the goal for every session is to continually connect women to their selves. Kristina provides space to process all the varying emotions and physical conditions we experience. The result of this work is an enhanced empowerment and ownership women innately have over this experience and their bodies.
