Manual Massage Therapies are one of the most effective modalities to manage pain while increasing body awareness & sensory feedback. Kinesthetic Therapy integrates many styles of touch work to create tissue pliability and proprioreceptive intelligence. Manual Therapies can be introduced in the simple form of feedback touch during a movement exercise or can be as complex as a full session of full body massage work. Massage is known to increase circulation throughout the body and stimulate the para-sympathetic nervous system to promote increased immunity and induce a healing state. Inducing this system moves the body away from pain signaling and towards increased sensation. Touch work in any form helps us to understand our own sensitivities and boundaries guiding our nervous systems' toward a sense of safety and therefore creating the optimal environment for maximum change.
Manual Techniques are a critical modality to bring the body back to pre-injury function. Injured tissues, upon healing and once healed, need time to re-organize to a healthy and sensory rich state. A therapeutic practice with the combination of Functional Movements and Massage Therapies can provide a basis to springboard you to optimal wellness & fitness.

Functional Movement Training is critical to creating ease for daily living, fitness performance and systemic posture. All Functional Movements within Kinesthetic Therapy focus on creating movement and postural efficiency through balancing the static relationships & motions of the musculoskeletal and fascial systems. We address movement efficiency by teaching tissues to be adaptable, elastic and with ability to recoil. With this adaptability we then work towards healthy ranges of motion and balanced joint relationships. This allows for greater biomechanical efficiency and ease allowing you to expend as little energy as possible.
Functional Movement Training is necessary to finding a strong, efficient body. Beginning with basic foundations of movement, we will build a strong base to build strength with mobility, power without tension and a physique that is healthy and balanced.
For those suffering from chronic conditions, functional movement techniques can retrain your tissues (musculoskeletal, visceral and organs) to be adaptable & increase sensation to improve or eliminate pain. Kinesthetic Therapy combines modalities like Pilates that focus on movement & activation with Yoga Asanas that promote structural integration. Our goal is to balance mobility and stability providing lasting adaptability.
TECHNIQUES INCLUDE (not limited to)
BODYWEIGHT & SUSPENSION EXERCISE
LOCAL & GLOBAL MOVEMENT SEQUENCES
LIGHT TO HEAVY WEIGHT TRAINING
PILATES CORE EXERCISES
YOGA (POSTURES) & FLOWS
POSITIONAL RELEASE
Breath focused exercise is the modality that helps integrate all bodily systems. Breath-work practices are employed to help balance the nervous system and decrease tension throughout the entire fascial and musculoskeletal systems. Breathing is a key feedback mechanism, allowing us to sense what nervous system state we are operating from. It is therefore a fantastic tool to help us adapt appropriately & efficiently to stimuli. Starting a breath work practice is as simple as sensing one's breath- but deeper practice can alter posture, soften tension, increase fitness performance, lower blood pressure, stimulate detoxification, ease pain and provide a sense of balance. Breath work along with Functional Movement and Manual Massage Therapy help us to respond to life rather than react to it.
TECHNIQUES INCLUDE (not limited to)
HATHA YOGA PRANAYAMA
PILATES BREATHWORK
YOGA NIDRA
BREATH FOCUSED -MEDITIATION
